Mekhi Phifer Gets Married


Mekhi Phifer is a married man! The actor said “I do” to his fiancee on Saturday in Beverly Hills, Calif., at the Montage Hotel, E! News reports, outdoors in front of 100 family and friends.

Mekhi donned a white suit and walked in to Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon in the Sky,” and teared up when he spotted his bride make her entrance into the courtyard.

Mekhi was completely overcome with emotion and you could tell she took his breath away.’The source at the wedding continued: ‘He had to wipe tears from his eyes for several minutes.’

Mekhi  was previously married to ctress Malinda Williams, whom Phifer divorced in 2003 after four years of marriage which produced a son. He had his second son, Mekhi Thira Phifer Jr., with fiancee Oni Souratha in 2007.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Looks like Ray J and Teairra Mari are officially dating again. A few weeks ago a video surfaced of Ray J getting into an altercation with two people at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. a couple of weeks ago, and Teairra was spotted hanging with Ray. The pair were photo’d popping tags at Fred Segal in L.A., over the weekend again looking like they’ve become close again.

The two reportedly dated when Teairra was signed to Roc-A-Fella.

En Vogue Settle Legal Battle Over Band Name

The En Vogue legal drama is finally over! After a major battle in court, only two of the original four members can still call themselves “En Vogue”. In case you missed it,band member Maxine Jones left the band and went on a Twitter rant claiming Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron forced her to leave, and are now suing her for $$$!

According to TMZ, Cindy Herron and Terry Ellis have won permission to continue touring as En Vogue after taking legal action against another pair of former members, Maxine Jones and Dawn Robinson, alleging they do not have the right to perform using the moniker.

The singers have won control of the name, but the judge ruled they did not qualify for any financial compensation.
