Killer Mike recently shared a humbling experience he had outside the Grammy Awards in his latest single.
The Atlanta artist unveiled his new song “Humble Me,”. In the music video, filmed in black and white, Killer Mike displays his accomplishments and riches before being stripped of his jewelry and luxury items. The video captures him getting handcuffed as he contemplates the incident.
In his lyrics, he raps,
“I won at the Grammys for spitting my grammar, did that for Atlanta,” he raps. “Did that for Atlanta, bruh, swept up like a janitor/Got sent to the slammer, bruh.”
The release of the song came shortly after authorities in Los Angeles decided not to press charges against him. The incident took place in February when Killer Mike had a confrontation with a security guard while trying to enter the Crypto.com Arena for the Grammys broadcast. Following his detention, he was later released from custody.
