The Triangle has made another list, twice! This time it’s for having the most educated residents.

WalletHub recently released a study identifying where the most educated Americans live and work. They compared the 150 largest metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) in the U.S. using 11 key metrics. These included the percentage of adults aged 25 and older with a bachelor’s degree or higher, the quality of public schools, and the gender education gap.

Two cities in North Carolina’s Triangle area ranked in the top ten. Durham-Chapel Hill, NC, placed 4th, while Raleigh-Cary, NC, came in 7th. This highlights the Triangle’s strong educational systems and high number of degree holders, making it a prime area for educated professionals.
