50 Cent is taking on the project of a Diddy docuseries simply because, as he puts it, “Why wouldn’t I?”
In a recent cover story with Us Weekly that explores his legacy and rise to success, 50 Cent explained why he’s making Diddy’s story his next venture. “I’m the only person in hip-hop culture that has produced any hit television,” he said. “Why wouldn’t I be the one to produce it? And I’m not on the tapes.”
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s upcoming multi-part documentary, titled Diddy Do It, was first reported by TMZ. The series, which is set to delve into the sexual assault allegations against Diddy, is highly anticipated, especially after Netflix won a heated bidding war to secure the rights. The documentary, produced through Jackson’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios, is expected to premiere on Netflix.
