A woman named Vanessa LeMaistre has filed a lawsuit in California, accusing producer Metro Boomin of raping her in 2016 at his studio and later discovering she was pregnant.

The lawsuit explains that LeMaistre first met Metro in Las Vegas during a difficult time in her life following the passing her nine-month-old son, Kamden, to a rare and fatal disease.

“When Wayne invited Ms. LeMaistre to visit him at recording studios in California, where she lived, she was happy for the opportunity to watch him work because she was passionate about music,” the suit reads. Devastatingly, however, meeting Wayne resulted in Ms. LeMaistre suffering from the second worst thing that ever happened to her-being raped by someone who pretended to be her friend for months.”

In the lawsuit, LeMaistre claims that during one studio visit, she was given a shot of alcohol and took half of a Xanax bar to cope with anxiety from her recent loss.

TMZ reports that the producer, also known as Leland Wayne, was also struggling with his own “recent breakup or trial separation from his long-term girlfriend.”

The suit states the victim says she woke up unable to move or speak and realized that Wayne was allegedly raping her. She never consented to any sexual contact, the suit states.

It adds that a few weeks later, LeMaistre says she discovered she was pregnant and claimed she hadn’t been with anyone else, so she knew the pregnancy was the result of the alleged assault.

She ultimately decided to terminate the pregnancy, citing her “declining mental health.”

Metro Boomin’s lawyer has released a statement calling the lawsuit a “pure shakedown,” adding that the accusations are false.

Additionally, LeMaistre’s lawsuit also references Metro’s 2017 track “Rap Saved Me,” pointing out lyrics that read, “She took a Xanny, then she fainted / I’m from the gutter, ain’t no changing / From the gutter, rap saved me / She drive me crazy, have my baby.”

“Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”
