Owners of House of Art to Hold Benefit Concert

News broke early last Tuesday that the beloved business House of Art had caught fire around 3 a.m. that morning.

“I describe the House of Art as the heartbeat of Raleigh,” Mikhail Wright told ABC 11. “It’s the only place I know where everyone from everywhere can come together, communicate and talk, network and discuss art.”

News quickly spread across social media with many expressing their sadness and sharing their personal stories.

Efforts to rebuild the establishment are now in progress. On Tuesday, January 14th, a benefit concert will take place at The Pour House in Raleigh. That address is 224 S Blount Street.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and will showcase several local artists and DJs.
