Raleigh Partners with Dreamville for Unnamed Music Fest

Raleigh city officials and Dreamville representatives have announced an exciting new multi-year agreement that ensures a vibrant music festival experience at Dix Park through 2029. This partnership builds on the Dreamville label’s previous successes, further solidifying the festival as a staple for music lovers and the local community.

The new four-year deal will see Dreamville hosting annual events at Dix Park, providing a platform for diverse music acts while continuing to foster connections with fans from around the world. Sascha Stone Guttfreund, a promoter for Dreamville Festival and Live Nation Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We’re going to be here for years to come.”

Described as a “family reunion” by Dreamville co-founder and J. Cole’s manager Ibrahim Hamad, the festival serves as more than just a music event. Hamad shared that although he’s not originally from North Carolina, the festival’s success and community spirit have made Raleigh feel like a second home. The event has become a beloved attraction, drawing visitors into the city and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Local residents echo this sentiment, citing the festival’s positive impact on Raleigh’s economy and culture. Devin Farmer, a past attendee, shared, “It brings a lot of energy to the city.” Businesses, restaurants, and the hospitality sector benefit greatly from the influx of visitors during the event weekend, making it a significant driver of local growth.

Safety remains a top priority for organizers and Raleigh officials. City Manager Marshall Adams-Davis emphasized the importance of ensuring attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience. Robust measures will be in place to assist festivalgoers and help them return home securely. “Safety is always paramount,” Adams-Davis stated, noting that this emphasis has allowed the festival to maintain its reputation as a trusted and fun-filled event.
