According to investigators, on July 20, Cesar Peralta went to the Houston apartment complex to purchase drugs from McDowell, who neighbors reportedly referred to as the “weed man.”
On July 20, deputies found 20-year-old Cesar Peralta unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. McDowell was arrested last week and as of Monday (Aug 5), he remains behind bars with a $400,000 bond on the murder charge.
No word on what led police to identify Scott and Swygert as their suspects.
